| 2026-01-04 | I need to nail down the connection between the hash table and memory management. There may be a third case. If there is material associated with ob-cells that are not for individuals, reference-counting may be the essential means of leaving the space to the garbage collector. It is unclear whether such an action releases stack storage though and there still needs to be a scheme for Cheney copying ob-cells/-structures that need to be moved. This is sort of about needing some sort of scheme related to knowing which items in heap-0 are referenced from elsewhere as part of working storage. In some sense we need to know something about generations and lifecycle of ob-cells, so the cases of synthetics and accelerators can be managed properly. | ||

| 2025-11-21 | Determine whether or not the generational garbage-collection goes here or it is expanded as a separate topic. Because of the special case of heap-0, and how the stack and generations are to be handled, this might need to be a separate topic. | ||
