Work in Progress |
For deeper, practical understanding of software development, it is important to work with a personal computer and rely on some available software tools.
This section of nfoTools provides on-ramps and guard rails, introducing some fundamental toolcraft that works on and for Microsoft Windows PCs. Programming starts in Clean Standard C, evolving to combinations with C++.
General PC usage skills are important prerequisites.
Prerequisite developer tools are either already present in Microsoft Windows or are freely-available to download and install. Using Git and GitHub for backing-up your work and accessing the work of others is an important option as open-source working is introduced.
For background on toolcraft, see The Craft in Toolcraft.
Everything is work-in-progress at this stage of nfoTools development in the open.
